NEW VIDEO PREMIERE |Thula Borah – Bone Ships

Glasgow based post-rockers ‘Thula Borah’ have just released ‘Hope For Disappointment’, the anticipated follow up to 2013’s ‘Qualia’.  The first track from that album entitled  ‘Bone Ships’ hints at a new direction with a windswept vocal front and centre set against angular guitars.

Thula Borah’ are a four-piece band from Glasgow whose sound is probably best described as a mixture of alternative-rock and post-rock, drawing influence from the likes of 90s guitar bands such as Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, REM and Radiohead merged with the dynamics and ambience of Mogwai, Sigur Ros and Isis but with some subtle slowcore influences of Low and Red House Painters too, much like another or their influences, Glasgow’s much missed Aereogramme.

They’re touring Scotland to coincide with the release and play in Edinburgh on 24/10 with ‘Wozniak’ and ‘We Came From The North’.
