Edinburgh based experimental four piece ‘Wozniak’ have been creating swathes of immense psych infected cinematic shoegaze tinged with hazy post rock flourishes since 2013. The band have consistently evolved their sound on each of their releases with relative ease. Wozniak’s ability to create layer upon layer of sonically astute but highly charged reverberating sound is well known within the underground music scene. It is evident from their early (2013) single ‘MFMB / New Hampshire’ on into their epic (2014) debut release ‘Pikes Peak’ & more recently their explosive follow up EP – ‘Auster’. They have also become a potent force on the live scene with headlining gigs in their home town of Edinburgh as well as gigs in London and Dublin & more recently (November 2015) they have supported noise makers ‘Spectres’ at Sneaky Petes in Edinburgh.
Now, the band have released a monster of a video to accompany the second track to be lifted from their recent EP release ‘Auster’. The track is entitled ‘Gospel of Infinity’ & its a tremulous, creeping thrill ride that builds & builds with rolling drums, addictive, throbbing bass lines & that signature twin guitar attack. ‘Gospel Of Infinity’ is a monolith that melds & bends frequencies at will. The accompanying video – “Preaches to the faithful, giving praise to the mighty Big Muff and laying healing hands on those in need of some spiritual riffs. Featuring righteous worshiping by Girls Rock School Edinburgh, Gigantic Leaves, Super Inuit and friends”.
