Continuing on with their musical manifesto of releasing one new track per month in varying sonic shapes & sizes, Vancouver based psych-gaze explorers ‘The Orange Kyte’ have just announced a brand new single and an accompanying video entitled ‘Which Vivian?‘ to their previous two releases, the fantastic debut track ‘Morning Pages’ and the stunningly vibrant ‘Dope:86’. The band are made up of ‘Vancouver based but Dublin born’, Steve Moonboots & a revolving door of likeminded musicians with players on this latest track listed as Drums by Dave Mulvaney, Tambourine by Felix Fung & Keys by Richie Alexander of Did You Die.
‘Which Vivian?’ see’s the band release it’s best track structurally to date, with its immense 60’s psych tinged hue overpowering the entire instrumentation and circumnavigating that impressive melodic vocal as the track works through its sonic gears with aplomb. Hypnotic whirling keys lead us into that magnificent break before the track builds into a cacophony of immense sonic sounds culminating with a brilliant lead guitar charge to its finale. This band are consistently releasing stunning musical selections as the months progress with each track being a positive upwards step .
