NEW VIDEO PREMIERE | The Orange Kyte – Inside Out n’ Upside Down.

Inside Out Artwork

Continuing on with their musical manifesto of releasing one new track per month in varying sonic shapes & sizes, Vancouver based psych-gaze explorers ‘The Orange Kyte’ have just announced a follow up single and an accompanying video entitled ‘Inside Out n’ Upside Down’ to their immense May release ‘Microdose’. The band are made up of ‘Vancouver based but Dublin born’, Steve Moonboots & a revolving door of likeminded musicians. For this release the experimental band of psychonauts are: Guitar/EHX B9 organ guitar – Stevie Moonboots, Bass by Robin Schroffel (Fashionism, Strange Things), Drums and percussion by Dave Mulvaney, Flute by Malcolm Biddle (Dada Plan) & Saxophone by Dave Biddle (Dada Plan). The single is available to buy/download right now from: theorangekyte.bandcamp.com/track/inside-out-n-upside-down

‘Inside Out n’ Upside Down’ is an organ driven cacophony of summery sounds melded together with swirling 60’s psychedelic charm. Think ‘The Dandy Warhols’ meets ‘The Black Angels’ and you’ll find that that this track sits comfortable in between.  Another brilliant release from an artist that can do no wrong!

Recommended Viewing!

Up to this point The Orange Kyte has primarily been a recording project, but June sees the launch of the live unit, with festival shows including an appearance at Levitation Vancouver to look forward to. The live band draws recruits from Vancouver bands ‘Summering’ and ‘Strange Things’ for the task.
